Topic: Personal Branding and Professional Visibility for Accounting and Finance Professionals

Presentation Overview: This lesson introduces experienced professionals in accounting and finance to the fundamentals of building a strong, authentic professional presence on LinkedIn and other social media platforms. Participants will learn how to clearly communicate their expertise, career story, and value to employers, clients, and professional networks. The session will cover how to create a polished profile, highlight accomplishments, engage professionally online, and use digital platforms to expand influence and career opportunities. Emphasis will be placed on confidence, credibility, and relationship-building in a digital environment, helping participants position themselves for continued growth and success in today’s professional marketplace. 

About Our Speaker: Jaimme Preston is a native of Cleveland, Tennessee. She is married to Coker Preston, and together they have four children.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Tennessee Wesleyan College in Athens, Tennessee, followed by a bachelor’s degree in Long-Term Care Administration and an MBA in Healthcare Administration from Southern Adventist University in Collegedale, Tennessee.

Jaimme has served at Lee University for 2.5 years as a Professor of Marketing and Management and as a Strengths Vocational Coach. She is also a member of the American Marketing Association. Prior to joining Lee University, she spent 14 years with Life Care Centers of America, where she held leadership roles including Nursing Home Administrator and Director of Business Development.

She is deeply passionate about helping others and is dedicated to guiding students toward careers rooted in servant leadership within the School of Business at Lee University. In her personal time, she enjoys traveling, crafting, and spending time outdoors with her family.
